With a workforce of more than 3000+ employees, the main challenge was to identify a platform for the custom application development requirement at the client location. After evaluating multiple technology products, the client shortlisted Microsoft365 SharePoint Platform for their growth story.AscenWork technologies were selected to help in achieving the client’s vision and goal on paperless office concepts and to automate all the manual business processes. The project had to be divided into multiple phases for the various modules to be implemented.AscenWork developed and designed various modules like the Intranet Portal, Travel Management, Purchase Management, Sales Estimation Process, Digital Signature on Documents, Conference Room Booking, and many more.
Solution
AscenWork Technologies team of experienced Business analysts, Designers, Developers, Testers, and Project Managers outlined a plan to develop and implement the entire project in a phase-wise manner as per the priorities on the module. AscenWork team conducted detailed requirement gathering sessions with the client team and end-users to understand their existing as-is process and the to-be requirements. Basis the requirement, the AscenWork team created a detailed. Prototype of the various applications and business processes. The basis on the confirmation from the client, the development team developed the application on SharePoint. AscenWork team through its wide experience on the SharePoint platform was able to provide a cost-effective and standardized application development. AscenWork team also integrated SharePoint products with other tools like SAP, Tally, and various other legacy application.
Results
AscenWork Technologies provided a hybrid approach to the custom application development, with certain modules being developed offshore and certain critical modules developed Onsite at client location. The resources on the project were deputed based on the module development priority. The project was executed on a Fixed and Variable price structure.
